The Marchetti & Togliatti families from Balangero, Northern Italy, immigrated to Utah at the end of silver boom in the early 20th Century before relocating to the Santa Clara Valley in California. The Italian vineyardists married into more Italian vineyardist families, Casella & Bossa, just in time for Prohibition. Safe to say the Tijuana business boomed and the entrepreneurial ambition won through.

Francois Pascale Gracia arrived in 1870’s San Francisco and married the newly arrived Marguerite Mahood from an Irish family fresh from Tahiti. The first generation Irish families of Grant & Brandon married into the Gracia & Medina Mendoza family, a first generation family from the central state of Guanajuato, Mexico.

Henry “Hank” Marchetti was born on Home Ranch in Uvas Creek, Gilroy, married Joan Gracia in San Francisco, 1949, and they settled in Mountain View, California, to raise their family.
